Born in Richmond, VA and raised in Rockville, MD, Saro studied Graphic Design and Art Direction at Pratt University, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. He worked as an art director for a publishing company in NYC, then moved back to DC where he freelanced for ad agencies before joining Catholic University. After eight years as their Director of Publications, Saro opened his own business, Bulls-eye Graphics, in 1993, servicing mainly non-profit clients. He got his real estate license in 2007. He joined Cummings and Co. in 2017.
Saro is a historic homes and Homeland expert, as well as an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) and Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE). He lives in a stone Palmer Lamdin house with his red Pit Bull, Romeo. His leisure time interests include his Homeland wine group that meet monthly, volunteering for the Maryland SPCA as a dog deputy walker, spending time with his wonderful friends, and traveling the world which he has done extensively.
